Hey! So, I am currently in flickr, and, while viewing a picture, I saw a link to blog about it. After a bit of tinkering, I managed to get my blogger account validated, and here I am, blogging about this awesome pic.

The guy who makes these delicacies in visual arts goes by the nickname Artie. This guy has a huge following and appears to be a guru of Photography. Anyhow, check out what this posting generated, chances are you'll find a link to his flickr homepage.

Pictures on my Flickr

So I normally don't like using my webcam to take pictures, cause it always makes me look depressed. Whatever, so I gave it another shot, and, well, I was actually looking happy! :)

Whatever, thing is, I just created a new flickr account. I prefer flickr to facebook because the interface is nicer, and the pics aren't all shoved into a corner. People can see the pics in a slideshow, full screen, and the pics are loaded very quickly. All in all, it's just made for that.

So, here are the pics. This time, I'm going to post the link to my Flickr photostream.

First post - YouTube vid embed

So, for my first post, I'm going to try to embed a YouTube video (Britney Spears!! Stronger) right here. To do that, I can't use the "Add video" option without going in lengths. Rather, I will use the "Embed" text that you can find below the description of nearly any YouTube video.

So, where do I start?

1. Find Britney Stronger music video on YouTube.
2. Copy the embed text into my clipboard.

Ooops! I just failed! It seems as though they removed the option to embed britney's music vids. You can see it in the snapshot below, which I took today (Nov. 18th 2008).

Ok, that was boring! Instead, I'll grab a mercyme video, hoping they don't mind.

1. Search for mercyme on youtube.
2. Copy the embed text below the description.
3. Get back to blogger.
4. Paste the embed text in the "Edit Html" mode.

Ok, here goes nothing! Preview!

That video didn't have much "video" going for it, but you can request the poster to make a better one, or go ahead and make one yourself. You can use Windows movie maker, it comes with windows if you're a PC user. My sister already made some fun videos pretty easily with that. I personally lost my mercyme CD, so I won't be able to do it.
